Recording of my panasonic dmr-ez37vk vcr, using both the ms capsule on the zoom h6, as well as a mono feed of a shure beta-58. Minimal compression in post. Going through all of the options, play, stop, ff, rewing, etc.

For the technically minded, the voice is modulating a 110Hz en:sawtooth wave, which is the note A two octaves below en:A440. There is also some en:reverberation and phasing added. This is a short clip that can be used to establish a setting for a small old style village.

This has been recorded with a lenovo laptop's built-in microphone and with the pre-installed audacity recording program.

I used the ben burtt technic to design this punch; mixing a whip tail sound with a the sound taken from hitting a jacket with a baseball bat. I used logic to chop the whip tail up and blend it to make my own punch.
